If VIPKid determines that any user of the VIPKid platform – including (without limitation) students, teachers, parents, vendors, or other users – has engaged or is engaging in discriminatory behavior directed towards any other user based on a protected characteristic under this policy, the user may permanently lose access to the VIPKid platform.
Protected characteristics under this policy include race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex (including pregnancy), genetic information, marital or family status, sexual orientation or gender identity/expression, disability, age, military or veteran status, and political affiliation. VIPKid further upholds and enforces all applicable non-discrimination laws, including any additional protected categories and characteristics. To be sure, discriminatory behavior may include, without limitation, refusing to provide or accept services arranged using the platform based on any of these protected characteristics.
If any user believes they have been discriminated against in violation of this policy, the user is encouraged to contact the VIPKid team directly. If you are a teacher on the platform, please send a support ticket to the Teacher Voice Team and select the “Diversity and Inclusion” dropdown. For all other users, please contact the team by contacting Support.
